About Lingua Franca Translation Services

I am an English to French and French to English translator based in San Diego, California, United States. A native of France, I was raised and educated there before moving here to San Diego in 1997.

I was trained as a lawyer both in France and in the United States. I received my Master's Degree (Maitrise) in Public and International Law from the University of Paris XI. Subsequently, I received my LL.M. (Master of Laws) from the University of Connecticut Law School with an emphasis on International and Comparative Constitutional Law.

Upon moving to San Diego, I worked for the Law Offices of Danielle Homant on asylum cases and business immigration cases.

While working in this law firm, I also started to provide translation and interpretation services to Casa Cornelia Law Center and Survivors of Torture International and various immigration attorneys based in San Diego.

To continue to combine my passion for languages and international affairs, I took a position with Doctors of the World-USA as the Human Rights Clinic program coordinator. In that capacity, I continued to use my translation and interpretation skills while also gaining a considerable knowledge of medical terminology.

Like most translators, traveling is what I enjoy the most in my free time. My family and I have visited many countries around the world. Each one of my travels enhances my passion for language and culture.
